Highlights of the Wine Festival

The best wines from Bardolino

Over 150,000 wine lovers stroll along the Bardolino promenade during the festival weekend, tasting the red and rosé wines named after the picturesque town:

  • Bardolino Classico: The traditional, ruby-red, dry red wine
  • Bardolino Chiaretto: A fresh, delicate, and balanced fruity rosé
  • Bardolino Superiore: A more robust version with a longer aging period

These wines are the stars of the festival and the most important varieties of the region. Winemakers from Bardolino, Garda, Lazise, and surrounding areas personally pour their wines at the festival and share interesting stories from their cellars. It goes without saying that only DOC wines (with controlled designation of origin) are served.

Culinary specialties

As a flavourful complement to the aromatic wines, the stalls between Punta Mirabello and Punta Cornicello offer delicious dishes from the regional cuisine. From fish specialities to creamy risottos and pasta, to hearty traditional dishes – there’s something to please every palate.

Music & entertainment

An exciting program of music and entertainment ensures a lively atmosphere throughout the festival. As a highlight, a spectacular fireworks display will light up the night sky over Bardolino on Sunday evening at 10 pm.
