Wine festival in Bardolino

The wine festival in Bardolino is rich in tradition. For many years it has been an event that enjoys cult status and is almost as well-known as the fruity wine, which is the focus of attention. The great wine festival welcomes the arrival of autumn in Bardolino and invites wine lovers from all regions to taste some of the best wines.

The Festa dell'Uva e del Vino is one of the most important fixed dates in the annual calendar of Bardolino. Initiated by the district and the association Bardolino Top, the next edition will take place from 3rd to 7th October 2024. Considerable visitor numbers of more than 100,000 wine enthusiasts stroll along the waterfront of Bardolino during the festive weekend and taste the red and rosé wines.

The heroes of the event and at the same time the most important wines of the region are the Ruby red, dry Bardolino Classico and the Bardolino Chiaretto, which is pale pink and has a balanced fruity taste. Winegrowers from Bardolino, Garda, Lazise and the surrounding area will serve their fine wines themselves at the wine festival. Only DOC wines with a controlled designation of origin will get poured into your glass, and they will most likely reveal some interesting stories from their wine cellars.

To complement the aromatic wines, the stalls between Punta Mirabello and Punta Cornicello offer delicious regional cuisine. From fish specialities, creamy risottos and pasta to hearty home cooking, there is something for every taste. Music and entertainment also provide a varied programme. As a highlight, a big fireworks display will light up the night sky over Bardolino on Sunday evening at 11.00 pm.

So, if you want to taste the best Bardolino wines, talk shop with wine growers and other wine connoisseurs and enjoy days of joyful indulgence and pure luxury, the wine festival in Bardolino is perfect.
