The Parco Natura Viva Zoo at Lake Garda

The Parco Natura Viva Zoo is near Bussolengo, Lake Garda. The modern zoological garden with Safari Park is home to numerous exotic animals and is a popular destination for the whole family!

Before they created the zoo in the 1960's, the area was a little smaller, and its purpose was mainly to show strange and exotic animals to curious visitors.

Over time new areas have been added, such as the tropical house, the dinosaur park, the aquarium and the safari park with new animals. In the dinosaur park, children and adults can admire replicas of different dinosaur species.

Another highlight is the Safari Park, where visitors may drive their car to experience the classic safari feeling up close. Zebras, antelopes, giraffes, lions and many other animals from Africa live here.

Today, you can see animals from all continents in the Parco Natura Viva and learn a lot of exciting things about them. The nature park has also taken an active role in the protection of biodiversity and scientific research.

Playfully, the park teaches environmental topics and wants to educate visitors on the importance of wildlife conservation. They offer unique and exciting projects for children and school classes, for this reason.

A day at the Parco Natura Viva Zoo at Lake Garda not only delights children but is also something extraordinary for all animal lovers.
