Natural parks and zoos around Lake Garda

It’s a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers around Lake Garda. There are exciting nature parks dedicated to different themes around nature and conservation.

A beautiful and varied native landscape surrounds the lake. From Arco to Peschiera del Garda there are rugged cliffs, idyllic olive groves, green valleys, high mountains and extensive beaches and the scene differs in all directions.

Just as diverse as flora and fauna of the area are the many natural parks and zoos located around Lago di Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Some parks, such as the Giocabosco, specialise in activities and projects for children of all ages. Others, such as the Parco Natura Viva zoo, are an ideal destination for the whole family or a day out with friends.

In some natural parks, visitors are challenged physically moving from attraction to attraction. In other parks, the observation of animals and plants is the focus. However, they all have the high fun factor, the interesting information and the unforgettable experiences in common!

Visiting a nature park is a hugely entertaining activity while on holiday at Lake Garda and can be done in almost every season and weather conditions. You can comfortably drive through the Safari Park when it rains, while on hot days, the deciduous forests in the nature park on the hill Rocca di Manerba provide pleasant shady spots and a refreshing breeze.

All wildlife enthusiasts should not miss the zoos and natural parks on Lake Garda and should enjoy the diversity of the Mediterranean landscape!
