Nordic Walking in Tremosine
Those who spend their holidays in Tremosine at Lake Garda and love Nordic walking have the opportunity to combine sports activities in the beautiful natural landscape of the National Park, along with a visit to historic buildings, museums and picturesque squares.
The municipality of Tremosine with its 18 villages lies almost entirely on the plateau of the National Park "Alto Garda Bresciano". The exception is the village Campione; this surfing destination is directly on the shore of Lake Garda. The nature park is also known as the balcony of Western Lake Garda thanks to its location and fantastic views over the area. The highland forests and pastures are home to a wide variety of plants and animals, as well as historical stone houses, blacksmiths, mills and stoves.
In summer, the plateau offers pleasantly cool temperatures that are ideal for physical activity. In addition to well-marked hiking and mountain biking trails, there are some wonderful Nordic Walking trails.
CULT-Walking
If you mix the health benefits of Nordic Walking with the interests of the area, then it's called CULT-Walking. While taking part in sporting activities, you visit the cultural and historical sights and museums of Tremosine.
In the first Nordic Walking Park at Lake Garda there are five well-marked circular routes. You can rent the poles at the Cult-Walking Center in Tremosine. The centre also offers guided tours throughout the year with courses to help you learn the right technique. It's simple and provides a whole range of benefits for body, mind and soul. During a guided hike, walkers can relax well, have a leisurely chat and get thoroughly involved with the surroundings and the beauties of the nature park.
