Culinary tours at Lake Garda
Due to the mild climate, the natural landscape and the unique environment, the area around Lake Garda is ideal for the cultivation and production of typical Italian products such as grapes, wine, olive oil and various cheeses. The wineries, cheese dairies and olive oil producers, allow all lovers of pure natural products to taste them directly at the place of production and illustrate the manufacturing process from cultivation to the finished product.
Several stretches of road connect the numerous wineries, restaurants, cultural and scenic beauties of Lake Garda. On a beautiful journey discovering unique places, the people, their traditions and customs, and the authentic warmth and hospitality, you'll feel at home!
The tours, which go over one or more days, can be done on foot, by bicycle, car or motorcycle. This way, you can admire the natural beauty of the forests, hills and vineyards of Lake Garda and at the same time enjoy excellent products such as olive oil, wine, cheese, truffles, saffron, lemons, fish, honey and fruit, which thrive particularly well here thanks to the favourable climate.
One of the most famous tours is, for example, the wine and dine route, which runs along the west shore of Lake Garda near Brescia and is the production area for three quality wines with the designation of origin DOC: Lugana, Garda Classico and San Martino della Battaglia.
On the east shore of Lake Garda, however, is the wine route of Bardolino. The wine route from Lake Garda to the Dolomites connects areas with a Mediterranean climate with the Alpine climate of the Brenta Dolomites, a group of mountains north of Lake Garda.
There is also the wine and gourmet street in the area of Mantova with over 50 participating establishments such as wineries, producers of regional products, hotels, restaurants and agritourism, as well as the Lessini Durello wine route, a delightful culinary route through the picturesque hills of the Monti Lessini in the Province of Verona.
As you can see, the opportunities to marvel at the scenic beauty of Lake Garda and enjoy the local products are endless!
