Camping at Lake Garda

Camping is more than just a cheap way to holiday. For many, camping means pure freedom: sleeping as long as you like, having breakfast and lunch in the open air, cooking your dinner or going to the restaurant. Those who camp, don’t have to adhere to specific schedules or dress codes.

There are many campgrounds around Lake Garda, many at the south and east of the lake, close to many amusement parks like Gardaland and Canevaworld. One of the reasons why this location is ideal for a family holiday is because it has particularly family-friendly beaches.

On a campsite, you can spend the whole day with your loved ones, let the children play outside where you know they are safe and protected. Also, you don't have to stick to strict mealtimes, which is particularly important for a holiday with kids, as sometimes the evening routine takes a little longer and on other days, they are already mega hungry before noon.

Children always feel at home in a campsite, because they can move freely and play with many other children in the playground, on the beach or in the children's pool. Also, they can take larger favourite toys such as bikes or scooters on vacation. The quiet paths that connect the pitches with the various facilities are perfect as a race track.

Whether in a tent, a motorhome or a bungalow: the campsites at Lake Garda have the right accommodation for every taste. Even simple rooms with toilet and shower are now on many campgrounds, for those who are looking for a cheap holiday but don't want to miss out on comfort. Many campsites have private beach sections, as well as sports facilities for all ages and a colourful children's entertainment programme.
