Holiday in Moniga del Garda
Moniga del Garda is the ideal holiday destination for wine lovers and foodies and is located on the south-west side of Lake Garda. It is surrounded by idyllic vineyards, famous for its excellent DOC Chiaretto.
From a distance, you can see the castle which towers over the village. At the entrance of the castle is a bell tower, surrounded by an almost completely intact wall, that includes seven other towers. Inside there are some buildings that are still utilised today.
In the centre of Moniga, you should see the 18th-century Villa Brunati, set in a garden full of ancient trees, olives and vines.

Villa Brunati
The splendid Villa Brunati is beautifully situated in a large park with centuries-old trees, olive groves and vineyards.
Castello di Moniga
The origins of the castle of Moniga date back to the 10th century. You enter it via a large gate in a tower. Inside the castle, some buildings and rooms are still used today.
San Martino
The parish church was built in 1454, making it one of the oldest in the Valtinese area. It also houses five wonderful altars.
Madonna della Neve
This beautiful church really inspires, especially romantics. The Romanesque style building dates back to the 16th century, the nave, however, is reminiscent of an ancient basilica.
