Residence Borgo Alba Chiara is located in Toscolano-Maderno, directly near the historical centre. The apartments were built during the refurbishment of a building dating back to the 16th century. The house is surrounded by a magnificent park with olive trees and natural stone terraces with view of Lake Garda. The architectural and stylistic characteristics of the original building have been preserved, such as stone walls, cotto floors, wooden beams and panelled ceilings with frescoes. This guarantees a very special atmosphere and allows you to immerse in past times.

Much space for relaxing

Residence Borgo Alba Chiara offers 18 apartments with one, two or three bedrooms, which have been refurbished and designed with great attention to detail. They all have heating and air conditioning, safe, microwave, satellite TV, telephone and hairdryer. The building offers a reception, an elevator a private car parking as well as a washing room with coin-operated washing machine and dryer. In the garden, you will find a pool with whirlpool function and counter current system, a children’s pool, a sunbathing lawn with loungers and sunshades as well as play equipment for kids. Pets are welcome.

Only a few steps from the lake

The apartments are located next to the historical centre of Toscolano-Maderno, with numerous restaurants, shops and magnificent beaches. Also, the picturesque harbour is located only a few steps from Residence Borgo Alba Chiara. In the surroundings, you will find hiking paths, mountain bike tours, riding stables, tennis courts, surf and sailing schools and golf courses. 🔆 Wonderfully beautiful, I recommend it to anyone who wants to go there with their family the apartment is great, two pools are great, lots of loungers, barbecues, a playground, parking space. What more could you want?

🔆 The driveway is very narrow and steep. There was an ID Buzz in the parking space, so it made it. The apartment itself is okay, but nothing more. We were missing a kettle in the kitchen, the beds were pretty lousy, and the house is extremely noisy. When the neighbors came late at night or the toilet flushed at night, sleep was out.

🔆 A cool, atmospheric place, slightly off the beaten track. Getting there is a bit of a struggle, but don't worry – it's doable – there was a Skoda Kodiaq in the parking lot, so it's not a big car. I think the fact that towels and bed linen are available for an extra fee is a bit of an exaggeration, but there are also some definite downsides: - poorly equipped kitchen (no kettle, no wine glasses, etc.) - no on-site service, so if you run out of toilet paper or garbage bags, it's your own business.

🔆 Nicely renovated (kitchen from the 80s?), our 2-bedroom/3-bed apartment had no soundproofing and exposed rafters (!), so it was better for the kids to sleep downstairs and the parents upstairs to be able to sleep at all. Great pool area, terraced with several sun loungers. Bakery Forno and Bar Babo, 100m away, are highly recommended. Beautiful beach and several restaurants within walking distance via the old town streets. The access road is narrow and steep but manageable! Otherwise, there are a few (white-marked) parking spaces 100m downhill.
