As a couple, we booked a room with a lake view.
Hotel Da Tino makes a very good impression; it's very clean and well-maintained. It's located about 1.5 km outside the town center. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the historic center of Malcesine. However, the hotel is in a very quiet area. There's a bar (tea, coffee, Aperol, etc.) open all day. There's also a pool with a lake view. The driveway to the hotel is very steep and requires some care, but after the third time, it was no longer a problem.
The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. It would be cleaned every day (if you let them know), although we only had it done once. Hand and bath towels are changed three times a week, and the bed linens once. There's also a refrigerator, which I found very important. A TV is also available, but we didn't use it. Internet access is available and fast enough.
A continental breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:30. The coffee is delicious (as always, it's not the machine's fault, but the coffee beans). There's also the option to order an afternoon snack.
Overall, the hotel makes a very good impression, and we would gladly recommend it.

A very charming hotel with extremely friendly, welcoming, and cheerful staff and owners. Highly recommended. Very well-kept rooms, garden, and pool. Service is a top priority here. A stunning view of Lake Garda at breakfast. Quietly located, just a 10-minute walk to the old town and a 1-minute walk to the lake. Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a massage; the owner herself performs them with dedication and joy. A very successful vacation.

The service was always friendly. Everything was arranged upon request. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a cozy place with all the amenities. I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

I booked in the day before Father's Day so I could take my trip around Lake Garda. The hotel is very well-maintained. The rooms are perfect. Unfortunately, they only serve breakfast, but it's plentiful. That's enough for me, since I only eat in the evenings. You can indulge in culinary delights at the Hotel Europa. If we have the chance, we'll return to Garda, Malcesine, and Da Tino!
We were there in high season, in August.
Parking: a bit of a challenge with driving uphill. We drove around to nearby towns and attractions almost every day, and there were always parking spaces upon our return.
Pool: We didn't use it (we're just not fans of pools), but it looked clean and comfortable. Plus, the pool overlooks the lake and the mountains, surrounded by the hotel garden. Opposite the hotel is a mini-beach on the lake, always deserted; the entrance to the water is made up of small rocks (we checked the beach :-). In fact, the beaches there are one after another, like miniature coves.
You can rent a bike for free from the hotel: we borrowed one on our first morning and took a ride around the area. There's a bike path along the lakeshore, so it's a really nice ride. Staff: smiling, friendly, welcoming employees who do their job responsibly.

We felt very well looked after and comfortable at the hotel. The owners and staff were very friendly. All our wishes were fulfilled. Highly recommended. Parking is available and the dinners are very good. Unfortunately, we only ate there three times a week; given the quality, we probably would have eaten there every evening. But eating there three times a week is really great. It's incredibly delicious. If we ever go back to Lake Garda, we would definitely love to spend our vacation there again.

A very nice 3*** hotel with well-maintained grounds (garden with lawn and pool) and a terrace that invites you to linger at any time. Very friendly and courteous service from arrival to departure. Daily room cleaning, and towels changed every 3 days. The room rating deducted one star for the creaking doors (primarily in the bathroom). Free bicycles are available at all times. A 3-course dinner menu is offered 3 times a week. Free parking is available directly in front of the hotel, but this can be a challenge with a larger car—parking and not moving until departure
As a family, we felt completely at home; we lacked nothing; we would gladly come back. Special thanks go to the entire staff

Unfortunately, during the quick and spontaneous reservation, I didn't pay attention to the fact that a.) it didn't have a balcony and b.) it didn't have a lake view. It was definitely located somewhere, but where no one would look, because the pictures spoke a different language. But otherwise, highly recommended! Great location by the lake with a beautiful view of the lake (if you book the rooms at the front or sit on the terrace). Friendly and personable staff, from the manager to the chambermaids. Breakfast from 8 to 10 takes some getting used to if you prefer a later breakfast. But it's good and plentiful. Coffee and cake are just as possible in between, as is a nightcap in the evening. The downside is that card payments aren't accepted. But otherwise, I'd definitely go back, because the car is also on vacation and the center is within easy walking distance.

The whole hotel exudes Lake Garda charm! The staff is incredibly friendly. Ricardo is very helpful and accommodating. He knows all the best tips and information about the lake and enjoys listening to stories about the day's paragliding flights in the evenings. I felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. A delicious breakfast was an added bonus!

So, let's start with the positives: Very good breakfast (depending on the room), beautiful view, good location, decent pool area, reliable room service – overall, a well-maintained property. Now for the negatives: The hotel owners made a mistake with our room and, instead of preparing a room for three people, only prepared it for two. After complaining, however, we were given a larger room the next day. Furthermore, the bathroom in both rooms leaves much to be desired; I'm referring to the disastrous showers – water leaks out the sides. Also, there aren't enough parking spaces. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant stay. It was also nice that there were extra sun loungers for hotel guests on the nearby beach.

A beautifully situated, family-run hotel. Everyone is so kind, warm, and accommodating—from the chambermaids to the hotel owner. The breakfast is perfectly adequate, and you can also grab a snack or two throughout the day. There's a lovely panoramic terrace with a fantastic view of the lake. You can enjoy a glass of wine there and relax in the evening. Every room has a balcony overlooking the lake.
I absolutely want to come back. Saying goodbye is incredibly difficult.

Situated on the lakefront, elevated above the road, a 15-minute walk from the historic town center, which can be reached via a cycle/pedestrian path (or by car, bicycle, or motorbike), and with almost immediate access to the small beach below. The pool with lake views is very lovely, set in a well-kept garden. Everything else is impeccably maintained and clean, too. The breakfast buffet is excellent, varied, and well-presented. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is family-friendly. I would not hesitate to return.

Quiet area, fabulous location. The hotel is well-located with rooms overlooking the lake. We immediately felt at ease when we were welcomed. I really appreciated the availability of snacks like sandwiches, focaccia, salads, etc. until 5:00 PM. This is convenient for those of us with children who arrive at the hotel at a tricky 3:00 PM.
Cleanliness: nothing to complain about, very clean. The pool overlooking the lake is beautiful.

The location is a bit out of the center, but thanks to the free bike rental, it wasn't a problem. The hotel and rooms are a bit dated in some places, especially the bathroom in our room. But that's not a problem; everything was very clean. Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view of Lake Garda, including from the room. This hotel has a lot of German guests (over 90%), but Malcesine is certainly a very German destination.

A really great, small, family-run hotel with charm!!! The boss and his wife take turns working here. Both are incredibly nice and friendly. The location up on the hill just behind the promenade in the first row with free parking is very beautiful. It's about a 10-15 minute walk into the city center. Despite that, I think the location, amenities and price-performance ratio are top-notch!!! Our room looked freshly renovated (linoleum flooring) with a chic wardrobe, desk, TV, small refrigerator, and air conditioning. The bathroom was old but incredibly well maintained, so it was completely fine! To add to that, we've rarely had such a clean bathroom!!! And a balcony with a fantastic view directly across Lake Garda, which you could also see from the bed! Breakfast was also completely fine, and the prices for drinks were top-notch for a hotel!!! One thing is clear to us: we'll definitely be back!!!!!

A very nice hotel in a perfect location, with a stunning lake view, right next to a surfing and sailing school. The nearest beach is public and therefore dog-friendly, which was ideal for us. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The rooms are always clean. And all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Oh yes: The hotel has a beautiful garden with loungers and a pool. We would go back to da Tino anytime.

The location is great. The drive up to the parking lot is a bit of a challenge, but manageable :)
The breakfast is delicious with a good selection.
The changing dinner menu is definitely worth trying. It tastes excellent!
You can sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine with a view of the lake.
The massages offered are also worth mentioning. I found it very relaxing! :)
The only small downside: the single room unfortunately had no air conditioning, only a fan.
Still 5 stars!
Overall, good and very fair value for money.

We spent our honeymoon at Hotel da Tino on Lake Garda.
Three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, you can order a three-course meal. If you don't, you're missing out on authentic, delicious Italian cuisine at a very fair price!
The hotel's own pool is perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.
The old town is just a few minutes' walk along the beautiful promenade.
Riccardo and Dagmar run the hotel as a family, which makes the stay feel very personal. The rooms are meticulously clean and well-maintained.
The air conditioning is extremely quiet and keeps the room nice and cool even on hot days.
The hotel's massage services are world-class!
The food and drinks are first-rate all around Lake Garda.
All in all, we will definitely be back!

A pleasant atmosphere in a very family-run, personally run hotel. Several times a week, you can book a delicious dinner menu. The rooms are typically small for Italy, but clean and equipped with comfortable beds. The generous breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the terrace with a lake view, also deserves a special mention. Das Betreiberpaar ist sehr nett und fürsorglich. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten am See entlang. Wunderschöner Garten und Pool. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Die Zimmermädchen putzen sogar die äußeren Fensterrahmen und Fenstersims. Beim Frühstück ist alles was das Herz begehrt.

Here, you feel welcome both as a guest and as a person. The view of the lake at breakfast is simply magnificent. Surfers take advantage of the early morning Lake Garda breeze right in front of the hotel and provide plenty of conversation. You can relax at the hotel's pool, and the hotel's free bicycles allow you to quickly explore the lakeshore or Malcesine. The hotel staff was always friendly and accommodating.

This was our second time staying at the Hotel Da Tino for a week.
Our room had a fantastic view, was very clean, and was excellently serviced daily by room service.
The breakfast buffet was prepared every day with fresh fruit and a daily changing selection of delicacies. There should be something for every taste!
The pool and garden are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, inviting you to relax.
Dinner at the hotel is highly recommended and definitely worth the price. The three courses are a true culinary experience.
The Fiabane family and the staff are always friendly and strive to fulfill their guests' wishes.
In conclusion, all that remains to say is that we will definitely enjoy our vacation there again.

This was our first time here and we immediately felt at home. A family-run hotel, clean, with pleasant and friendly staff. The owner is happy to help, whether it's tickets for excursions, restaurant reservations, a taxi, or just a few tips. Highly recommended.

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich. Herr Ricardo hatte immer ein offenes Ohr und gute Tipps für unsere Ausflüge. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

A very nice family-run hotel. Our room had a fantastic view of the lake. The staff was very friendly. You won't miss anything here! Highly recommended. If we ever go to Lake Garda again, we'll definitely stay at Da Tino again.

Leitung und Personal des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstücksterasse mit Blick auf den See. Pool. 3 mal wöchentlich preisgünstges italienisches Menü.

Der wunderschöne Garten. Sehr gepflegt. Alles liebevoll. Schöner Pool. Familäres Flair. Toller Frühstücksraum mit wahnsinns Blick auf den See. Das Frühstück war auch abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Zimmer war hübsch und modern eingerichtet und völlig ausreichend mit Balkon zum See. Sehr schön. Sehr freundliches Personal. Kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Sehr gepflegte Hotelanlage, wunderbare Lage direkt am Gardasee mit Seeblick, saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal, super Frühstück, abschließbarer Raum für Fahrräder... Alles war perfekt!

- nettes, familiär geführtes Hotel in ruhiger Lage - sehr sauber, nettes Personal - Hotel am Rand der Stadt Malcesine, diese ist aber gut zur Fuß erreichbar - direkte Strandlage - Wassersportangebote reichlich - sehr gute Erholungsmöglichkeit!!!

Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, mit direktem Blick zum See. Man kann zu Fuß das Zentrum und die Wanderwege problemlos erreichen.

gutes Fruhstück, große Brotauswahl, frisches Obst, nicht nur industrielles Müsli, sondern Nüsse, Körner und Trockenobst. Besonders hat uns gefallen, dass man sich frischen Saft selbst pressen konnte Schöne Terrasse mit herrlichem Seeblick. Weg ins Zentrum ca. 15 min. Ort ist idealle Ausgangslage für viele Ausflüge. Personal steht gern für Informationen zur Verfügung und spricht gut deutsch. Immer wieder gern!

Der Blick über den See von der Terrasse aus ist grandios. Beide Chefs waren sehr hilfreich und freundlich und haben z.B. persönlich Anrufe für uns getätigt. Garten und Pool sind ebenfalls ganz toll.

Familiär geführtes Hotel, außerhalb von Malcesine mit einem wundervollem Blick auf den Gardasee, die Ortsmitte von Malcesine über den Fußweg am See entlang aber angenehm und gut erreichbar. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und kompetent, die Hotelführung sehr um das Wohlergehen der Gäste bemüht. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und einem tollen Blick auf den See und Limone. Das Frühstücksbufett war in Ordnung, dreimal in der Woche gab es ein sehr gut zubereitetes Abendessen. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.
